MRD had the task of evenly illuminating the large Pier A Mosaic in the Harrison room and main elevator lobbies. We first built a mock-up to test the optimal dimensions needed for an even distribution of light. The final design incorporates aluminum panels of LEDs stood off from frosted acrylic and stained glass.
