The ceiling of the Royal Promenade, the main thoroughfare on board Oasis of the Seas, is designed by internationally recognized architectural firm Atkins. It consists of an undulating series of translucent panels which MRD backlit using color changing technology. The fixtures are programmed to follow the natural curves of the ceiling, subtly changing color when there is a dip or a pull.
