MRD CELEBRATES FIFTEEN YEARS

MRD Lighting celebrates its 15th anniversary on May 12, 2020!

Proudly founded and based in New York City, MRD Lighting offers comprehensive services including lighting design and consulting, custom fixture fabrication, controls and code compliance, energy and engineering solutions.

Michael Riotto, MRD’s founder and CEO, started the company in a one room office and workshop in 2005, working mostly within theatrical spaces and nightclubs. Today, MRD’s portfolio includes commercial buildings, hospitality spaces, and top cruise lines around the world.

“What an extraordinary milestone for MRD. We, as a company, are always evolving and looking for the best solutions for our clients,” says Riotto. “I am incredibly proud of the team’s past and present work, and the new development of our UVC lighting prototypes in response to the COVID-19 crisis.”

Though the grand celebration will have to wait, MRD Lighting is looking forward to what the next fifteen years will bring!
