Grace 365, a restaurant and bar in lower Manhattan, celebrates the life of Grace O’Malley, Ireland’s premiere “Pirate Queen.” MRD worked closely with the client to ensure the space had a dim, yet comfortable ambiance while still keeping each necessary surface highlighted. We specified and customized the glass shades over the bar to appear vintage, creating a low-cost but effective look within our own shop. Aside from specifying, installing and programming the lighting, MRD also created a custom backlit map ‘pendant’ that showcased Ireland’s Clew Bay.
